Offenses are grouped into four severity tiers. Punishments escalate with repeat offenses, and staff always review your punishment history before deciding. Light PvP banter after fights (“ez”, “skill issue”) is allowed. It becomes punishable when it turns repeated, personal, discriminatory, threatening, or sexual, or continues after a warning.

Tier 1 · Warnings

Punishment: Warning

  1. Accidental spam. Repeating messages unintentionally.
    Definition & examples

Sending repeated messages unintentionally, such as from lag, confusion, or a mistake.

    • “Can someone help me?” sent 3 times in a row.
    • “Selling sword /msg me” sent multiple times.
    • “Why can’t I join the event?” repeated a few times without hostile intent.
  2. Minor chat flooding. Cluttering chat with lots of short messages.
    Definition & examples

Sending several messages in a short time in a way that clutters chat, but does not seriously disrupt it.

    • Sending “who” “wants” “to” “trade” as separate messages.
    • “lol” “lol” “lol” back to back.
  3. Rule misunderstanding. Breaking a rule without realizing it.
    Definition & examples

Breaking a rule because the player clearly misunderstood it, rather than intentionally trying to cause harm or gain an unfair advantage. Usually staff discretion, based on how new the player is and their punishment history.

    • Saying “join my friend’s SMP” without realizing that counts as advertising.
    • Using a command or mechanic in a way you thought was intended, but staff clarifies it is not allowed.
  4. Slightly inappropriate comments. Immature or mildly suggestive messages.
    Definition & examples

Sending immature, mildly suggestive, or low-level inappropriate messages that are not targeted, extreme, or repeated.

    • An inappropriate joke that does not involve threats, slurs, harassment, or explicit content.
    • Crude humor that staff determines is not severe but still not acceptable.
  5. Being annoying without serious harm. Minor disruptive or irritating behavior.
    Definition & examples

Acting irritating, disruptive, or obnoxious in a minor way that does not seriously affect players, staff, or gameplay.

    • Saying “staff help” every few seconds after staff already responded.
    • Repeatedly saying “1v1 me” to someone who clearly does not want to.
    • Following staff around asking for free items, ranks, or special treatment.

  6. Annoying behavior after a warning. Continuing after staff tells you to stop.
    Definition & examples

Continuing disruptive or irritating behavior after a staff member has clearly told you to stop.

    • Staff says “stop spamming trade messages” and the player continues posting them.
    • Staff says “drop the argument” and the player keeps bringing it back up.
    • Staff says “leave them alone” and the player keeps messaging or following that player.

⚠️ Punishments escalate: Tier 1 → Tier 2 → Tier 3 → Tier 4. Staff weigh how severe the offense was, how often you have broken similar rules, whether you stopped after being warned, and how the behavior affected players or the server. Staff decisions are final and rules may be updated at any time. If you believe you were punished wrongly, open an appeal ticket in our Discord. You may also apologize and possibly be given a second chance.
Do not break any of these rules while using the Simple Voicechat Mod
